I’m a versatile writer who’s been telling stories for web and print since 2007. While looking for my next opportunity in UX Content Strategy, UX Writing, or Technical Writing, these days, I edit for FlowCell and write for Al Fusaic.
Before this, I wrote educational and resourceful technical content for Career Karma, an app that helps people become software engineers by matching them to the right coding boot camps and giving them support for the rest of their careers.
Before that, I created and published technical content for the Kapwing Resources website, where I highlighted design trends and produced Studio tutorials for 1 million+ user.
Before that, I interned at Apps That Pay, an iOS and Android app developer in the heart of Buckhead, Atlanta, as a Content Writer, where I wrote B2B and B2C content thanks to interviews with engineers and designers behind the internal tools and resources at Apps That Pay products inBrain.ai and Zap Surveys and shared their stories in blogs on those respective websites.
Before that, I worked at West End, Atlanta-based tech housing starts up PadSplit as a full-time Copywriter, where I dove deep into PadSplit’s web and Instagram copy, as well as their deep pool of PadSplitters, or people who live in PadSplits, to take extensive, candid audio interviews and transform them into well-crafted narratives we called Member Stories.
And before that, I worked as a Content Writer at Midtown Atlanta-based hardware design firm Kickr Design, where I worked on creating content in the form of emails, news releases, web copy, and more around the impossibly cool VR Gluv, all the while writing grants to officials.
But, before all of this, I was an active freelance writer in the arts, cultures, and trends worlds, contributing to Rolling Stone Magazine, Atlanta Magazine, Golf Media, Complex Magazine, Mass Appeal Magazine, Creative Loafing Weekly, and more.
I’m a solution-oriented content creator with a passion for communicating ideas and information across platforms. I have experience in print and digital journalism, an M.A. in Professional Writing from Kennesaw State University, and a B.A. in English from Kennesaw State University. I’m passionate about innovations in tech and love building relationships between people and products through language.
Outside of work, you can find me mentoring aspiring writers of color, meditating, exercising, cooking, running, reading, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends.
